As chief information officer at LPL Financial, Victor Fetter is the managing director of Business Technology Services. He is responsible for bringing to life the technology that supports LPL’s commitment to enabling financial advisors to provide independent financial guidance to millions of Americans. Technology at LPL Financial is driven by a commitment of continuous innovation to provide proprietary technology to more than 14,000 independent financial advisors and over 700 banks and credit unions. Mr. Fetter has responsibility for product development, digital transformation and technology support, security, and innovation.

Mr. Fetter serves on the Management Committee and the Risk Oversight Committee for LPL. He also chairs the Technology Investment and Strategy Committee. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Fetter serves on the board of the Private Trust Company, which provides trust administrative services for individual and family assets.
Prior to joining LPL Financial in 2012, Mr. Fetter was vice president and chief information officer for Dell Online, where he led the digital transformation of Dell’s approach to providing global solutions for consumers and commercial customers. His accomplishments include driving information technology efficiency with a focus on increased innovation, delivering highly scalable infrastructure solutions, and enhancing sales and corporate systems—including the architecture of global online, mobile, and social commerce capabilities. Mr. Fetter has a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL.
