The Team

 

  Laurel Miller is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems and Director of the Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT). She teaches Data Science and manages the external relations for IBIT and the Department of Management Information Systems, including the Fox IT Symposium Series, the annual Fox School IT Awards, the IBIT membership program, and The IBIT Report.

  Steve Sclarow is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems.  He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses with a focus on Design Thinking Strategies.  He is a licensed Architect with a significant background in infrastructure, directing all project phases from conception through completion.   He has extensive experience in construction risk management for a variety of property types.
aguido   Abby (Bennett) Guido is an Assistant Professor of Graphic & Interactive Design in the Tyler School of Art. She is the founder and creative director of Abby Ryan Design and has spent the past decade helping clients develop and produce effective messages and design solutions across various mediums. Her design specialities include branding, annual reports, websites and infographics. She currently splits her time between her design studio and the classroom.
pearsall   Hamil Pearsall is an Assistant Professor of Geography and Urban Studies Department in the College of Liberal Arts. She is a human-environment geographer specializing in GIS applications for urban sustainability and environmental justice, and her current research projects focus on vacant land management, urban agriculture in Philadelphia, and the socio-spatial dimensions of urban greening.
