Every team presents its project at demo day on Friday, November 6, in Alter Hall. A judging panel with representatives from Temple and industry partners reviews each presentation and selects the winning teams.
Cash Prizes
First Place
$3,000
Second Place

Each prize goes to the team and is split evenly among its members.
Beyond Demo Day
The strongest projects don’t end at demo day. The Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) will shortlist promising projects and support their continued development and deployment on campus. We will announce the shortlist at demo day or shortly after.
The shortlist is separate from the cash prizes. It may include teams outside the top three, and a prize does not guarantee a place on it. Every team that presents has a chance.
For many teams, this may be the bigger prize. It gives your prototype a real path to the students, faculty, and staff it was built to help.
How Winners Are Chosen
Judges look first at the importance of the problem and the value of the solution. AI tools should serve the idea, not the other way around. See the judging criteria for the full scoring framework.
