Chris Kearns is Senior Vice President in Operations and Technology at NBCUniversal where he leads the organization charged with delivering Workplace Experience and Solutions. He is responsible for the strategy, engineering, and operations for devices, collaboration tools, facilities and global security systems for the film brands, TV entertainment productions, NBC Sports, NBC Olympics, NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC and owned stations and Universal Parks around the globe. Previously, Chris served as Global Head for Hosting Services for the Vanguard Group where he was responsible for the strategy and engineering for key Data Center Services supporting over 20 million clients. In prior roles, he was Senior Vice President of Enterprise and Cyber Solutions at Leidos and Lockheed Martin where he was responsible for leading information technology business serving U.S. Department of Defense customers. This $700M business with 2000+ employees included the operation and cyber defense of national infrastructure. Previously, he was also the Program Director for the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) programs where he led a global team of more than 1,000 responsible for the DoD Information Network. Chris holds a master’s degree in information science from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Scranton. He serves on the Industry Advisory Board to the Engineering Department at the University of Scranton. In 2015, he was recognized as one of Federal Computing Week’s Top 100 Executives.
