The Movision Pro digital platform for physical and occupational therapists, and chiropractors enables providers to create personalized home exercise programs for patients. The Augmented Reality app that applies AI will also provide real-time feedback to patients at home. Cole Hagen, a PhD student in Neuromotor Science is leading the project in partnership with Dr. Shivayogi Hiremath’s Personal Health Informatics and Rehabilitation Engineering lab.
Movision Pro was the recipient of the DIF 2023 Digital Innovation Award. Manoj Chacko is providing architectural guidance. According to Hagen: “DIF has been instrumental in creating a structure and team to push Movision forward. We now have a roadmap to make the vision a reality.”
Yuval Shimoni, a Computer and Information sciences (CIS) student, is further developing the platform by adding real-time feedback capabilities. Yuval is enthusiastic about the project: “The project has strengthened my technical skills, allowed me to learn new technologies, and also express my passion for health and fitness.”
