GREGORY S. MEYERS

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LEADER AWARD

Greg Meyers is on the Executive Committee of Bristol Myers Squibb, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. He is responsible for the company’s digital transformation, the IT function, Cybersecurity, and leads the company’s digital health initiative which performs cutting edge R&D using Artificial Intelligence to transform the way patients who suffer from serious diseases are diagnosed, treated, and monitored.

Before joining BMS, Greg was the Chief Technology Officer for Syngenta Group, the world’s largest AgroSciences company. There, as an American living in Switzerland, and working for the world’s largest Chinese-owned foreign company preparing for an IPO, Greg developed a unique perspective on business, geopolitics and Cybersecurity. In addition to sitting on Syngenta’s Venture Board, he also led four acquisitions of startups which became Syngenta’s Digital Farming business, now contributing nearly $500M in incremental revenue. As CTO, Greg oversaw the rapid growth of Syngenta’s Cropwise Digital Platform which is now the second largest farming platform in the world.

Prior to Syngenta, Greg was Group CIO for Motorola Solutions where he was pivotal in helping the company reinvent itself into a software and services company. Earlier in his career, Greg held a number of roles both in IT and with P&L responsibility for companies such as Biogen, Novartis, Johnson & Johnson and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Having spent half his career in commercial and general management roles and the other half leading technology and digital transformations, Greg brings substantial experience at the intersection of technology-driven innovation and delivering top and bottom-line growth. Greg holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Rutgers University and a master’s degree in business administration from Temple University.
